Working in over 260 villages in 7 mountain ranges in Eastern Tanzania, the African Rainforest Conservancy (ARC), through its collaboration with the Tanzania Forest Conservation Group (TFCG), is protecting and restoring some 3,479 km2 of the world’s oldest and most unique mountain rainforests by improving the lives of the local people.
